Not a big horror buff at all, but I do really admire horror fiction when it's well done.

Fave Horror Novel:

Night Film by Marisha Pessl - It's kind of a weird, creepy detective horror...cocktail? It's a bit Lynchian, in that 'leading you down the garden path until you don't know what's real and everything is wrong' kind of way.

It's been a decade since I read it and maybe it'd just seem hokey now, IDK, but I remember liking Stephen King's first collection of short stories, Night Shift.

Fave Horror TV:

I hesitate to call Hannibal horror, but it's horror-esque, and really good.
