It sounds like AYRT finds romance antithetical to sexiness. Like, romance is actually a turn off for them? So maybe any fic where the characters have feelings for each other beyond wanting to bone is "unsexy" to them. *shrugs*

IDK. I don't really get it either.

da but there is a definite very annoying trend of people thinking that lesbians must be pure, soft, sexless beings and so finding actual smutty femslash fic in some fandoms is a fucking challenge because everyone seems to just want to write uwu soft lesbians holding hands and kissing.

I sort of tend to assume, based on how much it proliferates, that this really is what people want. At least a huge portion of the fanbase. Idk, it's definitely not my taste but it probably is some peoples'
