It sounds like your constipation is leading to a build-up of gas. Enough gas can trigger your gag reflex and make you nauseous. I recommend Pepto Bismol for the gas.

For the constipation, you might want to add more fiber to your diet or take a fiber supplement like Benefiber (it's a flavorless powder that dissolves in liquids.) Drinking more liquids in general can help soften up the stool.

Hope it helps! As someone with an irritated GI tract, I've found that Pepto Bismol before bed works for me. Or if I wake up in the middle of the night or early in the morning with stomach pain, I take some then. Takes up to 30 minutes to kick in but it's the only thing that works for me. If you're drinking liquid Pepto, it's better refrigerated. Drinking a cold glass of water or ice water along with it in the morning can also help.

Definitely look into Benefiber though! It's helped me when I needed it and it helped my grandfather with his terrible constipation. Once your bowel movements are regular again, the gas should decrease too.
