I'm sorry you're upset about it, but I'll say it again. It's a TV show. A storyline. They aren't demanding that you run out and get baptized and start going to church every Sunday. Did you feel like they were shoving demons down your throat for three years? I assume you don't believe in demons, either.

Kripke has said over and over that he knows where the show is going, that he has a five-year plan. I think he fully intended to do this storyline from the beginning, but he knew people would freak the fuck out (not that I'm saying you are, but some are) and wouldn't give the show a chance, and so didn't let it out that he planned it. He's proven he likes misdirecting in interviews.

I don't know. Maybe it's just because I'm a relatively new fan - I only got into the show a couple of months ago, and I sped through the first three seasons like a madwoman, because I loved it. Then this season is just kind of painful to watch for me. :\ I know they're not forcing me to do or believe anything, but it just feels... off to me. Like they're trying too hard, forcing it too much, pushing it where they shouldn't.

It's true, if I'd known they were gonna do a Huge Religious Storyline, I probably wouldn't have seen the show at all. I don't like that stuff. It's a pity that they felt the need to go this route, imho.

I'm just hoping it gets better/more tolerable :D And holding on for 4x09, omg.

I'm really excited for next week's, actually. I've always loved Mitch Pileggi.

I'm not familiar with him, but it sounds interesting. My friend and I are making lots of Doctor Who jokes. :P

LOL! See, and I don't know all that much about Doctor Who. Pileggi was Assistant Director Skinner in The X-Files.

OMG, seriously? I love that guy. I just don't know his name. XD That's effing awesome.

I can wait, but that's only because I have an exam Thursday night, like right before the ep. xD

And I'll have to wait because I have choir practice from 6:30 to 9 every Thursday. I'm so SO glad I have a DVR so I don't have to wait for a download.
