Movies are great too. I just tend to watch more tv than movies. but movie recs would be awesome.

Sweet! Okay, here's a few of my favorites, separated into leaning more to suspense and leaning more to terror:

Suspense:
Night of the Hunter (1955) <- this is honestly my #1 pick, if nothing else, watch this one!
Misery (1990)
The Wicker Man (1973)
Vertigo (1958)
The Thing (1982)

Terror:
Jacob's Ladder (1990)
Phenomena (1985)
The Descent (2006)
Audition (1999) <- this one is actually pretty fucked up, just as a warning!

And, for good measure, the REALLY WEIRD ones:
Cube (1997)
Eraserhead (1977)

Hope you find some that you like on here! But for sure try to get your hands on Night of the Hunter. It's so good.

OOooo, awesome. The only two on this list I've seen are Misery and Wicker Man, both of which are amazing. Especially Wicker Man. I will put the rest of these on my list to find.

I hope you enjoy them! ♥

I really love both of those movies; I appreciate a horror that can get under my skin without relying on blood. Not that bloody is bad, but it takes a defter hand to get around it. Kathy Bates is so good as Annie, and Wicker Man's got that feeling of rolling down a hill, picking up more and more speed until you realize there's a giant gaping hole at the end and you're going too fast to stop. I love it.
