TLC's Long Lost Family tends to do it for me. And NBC's This Is Us was too much for me. I think A Million Little Things is supposed to be a tearjerker, but I'm not absolutely sure about that. If you want to go older, Party of Five used have a lot of moments.

The movie Ordinary People is wrenching.
