i believe this person meant they posted things to be blamed on someone else because they feel that they are so self-involved that they need the drama. or perhaps there is something deeper and more sumbolic about the relationship of echo and narcissus. but i think you missed the point. echo didn't cause anything to happen to narcissus. he didn't drown himself, he was so in love with his own relfection(self) that he sat by the water and stared at himself. echo was in love with narcissus. and because he was so self-infatuated, echo faded away until all that was left was her voice(hence the word "echo" today).

Yes, I know the person writing this secret did´nt actually refer to Echo and Narcissus - I was trying to be witty. But alas, I fail at internet sarcasm. Hard. Hm, it was a long time ago since I read the story about Echo and Narcissus, so I might I have forgotten a few things ^^; I did´nt mean to imply it in a bad way for Echo, like, she´s the one to blame for it all. So, there goes my failing internet sarcasm again >x<
