Stressing the hell out. My company is in the process of being sold and have no idea what will happen with my job. They fired two people on Monday that had been there for like...15+ years. They've been slowly moving their positions to our production plants. But, they did it out of the blue so now all I can think is, "I could be fired any moment. D:::::::" Or, when our company is bought, it may stay largely the same.Which would be great because I love my job. WHO KNOWS?!?!

Brush up your resume and plan on how to file for unemployment in your area. You probably won’t be fired, but having a plan for the worst case scenario will make you feel less anxious about the possibility, and less adrift if it does in fact happen.

Thanks for the advice! I did update my resume just in case. I am also thinking of using my quarterly bonus to get some kind of certification. Maybe OSHA training certification or Sigma Six or Lean training. I'd like to stay in manufacturing.
