Hard disagree. I think a 48 year old man can play a 6,000+ year old.

Yes, Crowley favoring a younger appearance is popular fanon, but some people like an older-appearing Crowley too, and DT REALLY embodies the physicality of a character in a way that not a lot of actors would be so successful as. Plus he really brought a lot to the emotion.

If an older-appearing Crowley isn't your thing, the show is NOT the same as the book, and it's okay for there to be, you know, two versions of Crowley.

(I thought Michael Sheen would be too YOUNG when I first saw him for the role of Aziraphale, as a side note, but GOSH he played the part so well I can't imagine anybody else)
