Last I checked, fandom goes batshit if anyone under 18 dates... well, anyone. Sexualizing minors or something.

I dated a 22yo when I was 17, and no one thought it was weird, and my parents were okay with it as long as he respected their rules and curfew, etc., which he did. But this was the 90s, and apparently it's much more transgressive these days.
