I'm booking hotels and fights to get to DragonCon! It's my first Con in five years! I got sick of waiting for friends to get to the point where their kids were either old enough to travel or old enough to leave with the grandparents/father for a few days, only to get pregnant again and restart the counter. I feel guilty about going off to have fun without them, but, goddamnit, I have to stop putting my life on hold just because they chose to do a thing.
