Aw. :( I'm a new post-donghua fan myself, but definitely not an anti. I haven't encountered them much, probably because I'm not on Tumblr. That sounds really annoying, though. The novel itself has explicit underage sex! Anyone who can't deal with the concept shouldn't even be in this fandom.

Yeah... this is one of the fandoms where I'm oddly territorial about things. I'm all "yay new people" but at the same time I'm all "get your hands off my precious!" Not to anyone's face but I look at all the tumblr-fad things that get dumped in the tag (and the self-inserts) and silently go "...ugh" and leave the tag.

What amuses me to no end about this is homophobic people getting super confused in the comments sections of anime streaming site because they can't deal with their bigoted views colliding with a rare well-produced Chinese anime when they see it tagged as shounen-ai. What's sad about it is that their shitty sensibilities are actually safe because censorship.
