I agree. A man who transitions middle aged had all of the priveledge of being a cis man for most of his life. That's why it annoyed me when Caitlyn Jenner became the spokesperson for trans people. I know that's society- white, upperclass becomes the spokesperson. It's great that she became a spokesperson at all though... small changes, I guess...
