It's true that the benefits a trans woman has accrued from the privilege of being male-presenting over the course of her life don't disappear once she transitions. However that fact, that they've in some sense derived some historic benefits from the patriarchy, does not make trans women "part of the patriarchy." They're not part of the patriarchy, and at the same time that they've derived some incidental benefits from patriarchy, they've also suffered from patriarchal inequality, and the cis- and hetero-normativity and anti-trans bigotry that are attendant parts of patriarchal inequality.

I also would note that the argument about educational privilege is particularly daft, because the main barriers to educational attainment in Western countries are not primarily to do with gender.* It's pretty much irrelevant that you get to keep it, because that's privilege that's primarily to do with your class of origin and family background, which would have been the same whether or not you were cis or trans, and regardless of your gender.

* There are some exceptions, of course - there's no real female equivalent of Eton - but they're still vastly less significant than class.
