Tell that to my trans-women friends who were fired when they dared to come out. To my trans-women friends who can't find a job unless is as "escorts" BECAUSE they're trans and have lost many, many friends to violence because apparently you can still hire a trans sex-worker and then use "but she tricked me" as a defense and no one cares they're killed because people like you think "they're not women". And what, are you going to argue that trans-men are "traitors to the gender" because they suddenly get a lot of male privilege (As long as society think they're cis men?) Seriously, that idea of "you can't identify out of privilege" is absurd. Of Course you can. It's only that most cis people are never faced with the choice to do so just to be themselves.
