Nah. It's only messy if i stand close enough to get blood on me. And this is Missouri - people are shooting guns off all the time. It's...kinda horrifying, actually.

And find the barrel how? Buried end-down in dirt in the verge somewhere, the end covered up.... That'd take a *lot* of looking, and our verges are pretty weedy and thick.

I feel safe.
