nothing bc you can be labeled as an 'anti' for just not liking a ship at all, you don't even have to post endless hate about it, just dislike something and that's enough apparently.

Only this secret specifically mentions something antis do that's more than just "disliking a ship" but sure, pretend they're the real victims for getting a backlash for trying to bully and harrass people.

It does sort of raise the question - is OP against callout posts in general, or just when antis do them? Or is anyone who makes a callout post an anti by definition?

This is a comment secret from, I believe, a comment I made so: this is explicitly about antis making callout posts for people who ship the ~wrong things~/drag up "receipts" of people having shipped the wrong things sometimes years in the past and are therefor evil pedos who have to be reported and harrassed. Since the secret explicitly says "anti-led callout posts", I don't know why you're trying so hard to argue in bad faith.

But personally, I'm always very, very sceptical when it comes to callout posts in general because ~7 to 8 out of 10 cases, it's harrassment campaigns based on someone having a personal problem with another person or because someone likes/does what they don't like.

AYRT - it was a genuine question! I was asking because I thought it was an interesting question / sort of unclear, not as some kind of gotcha.

Alright, sorry then.

I consider callout posts pretty inherently anti behavior.

(Anonymous) 2019-06-21 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
Same. At this point, I'm far more distrustful of the person making a callout post than I am of the person who is being called out and unfortunately I rarely ever believe such posts now. 'Crying wolf' in fandom, so to speak.
