Yes, I'm also pretty active in SPN fandom, and the treatment of women characters *by the fans* is as bad as anything they accuse the show of. I mean, the show itself has some skeevy women's issues, but fandom is often enough a cesspool of rabid self-hating bitches. I don't know why we hate our own so much, when the rest of the world is already doing such a good job of marginalizing us.
