I agree although they're one of my guilty pleasures.

I still can't believe that the writer who wrote A Court of Thorns and Roses (worst book ever) is the same as the one who wrote A Court of Mist and Fury (less unpalatable book). Did she discover feminism 101 in between?

I still need to read the third one but I really can't be bothered.

Bonus: I actually believe that Cassandra Clare is the better writer. Not that I would ever admit it out loud.

Hey, we can sit at that table together. I also think Cassandra Clare is a better writer. Not a good one, but I was at least able to finish some of her books and not hate every character? (I pretty much hate everything TMI, but I didn't mind TID and the first two books of TDA)

Don't read the third one. I only did cause I have a friend who kept insisting that I'd like them in the end. :/

(And if you didn't try them, don't even start Throne of Glass. Those are even WORSE.)
