Agreed. I especially don't get the Beyonce love. She's standard pop, none of her songs are musically or lyrically interesting. I find her music dull at best.

She is much better at making pop music than most other people

that said, yes, it is still pop music, if you don't like pop music you're not going to like it

DA. I just don't like her voice and her style. She's way, way talented, but she just doesn't hold my attention. I like some pop just fine, she just doesn't appeal to me.

Is she? In what way? I don't get how her stuff is "quality", the lyrics are terrible and the beat is forgettable. There is some pop music I like, but there hasn't been a single Beyonce song that's stuck with me. Seems like a matter of opinion.

I find some of Shania Twain's old stuff catchy, but I don't think I've ever chosen to play her music of my own volition. I had a friend in high school who really liked her and would play her stuff, and I definitely wouldn't mind if a couple of her big hits came on at a party. But that's about it.

When it comes to Beyonce, I kind of like Crazy In Love I guess, as a party track or maybe to work out to? And Sorry isn't really my thing, but the part towards the end where there's a tone shift and it gets kind of sad and creepy sounding is really good IMO. Plus the music video is really good.

I actively dislike Cardi B. and Nicki Minaj, and I know nothing about M.I.A.
