I can't stand A/B/O fic. Bad writing, too often by teenagers who have absolutely no idea how sex or biology works (for humans or wolves, FFS), self-lubricating holes *shudder* and assbabies. Just yuck. The only thing that I can find appealing in it is the mate-bond aspect..which you can get with other AUs like soulbonds and the 'so horny, must have sex, not my fault' which you can get with dub-con, sex pollen, magic spells..

Most of the A/B/O fic that I've seen reads less like "virgin teenager" and more like "author's ashamed of their D/s and mpreg kinks and thinks this is the way around it." Either way -- big nope.
