Does cactus count as a vegetable? 'Cause I freaking love cactus. I also like cucumbers, carrots, broccoli, and red bell peppers.

I hate squash, cabbage, kale, and both iceberg and romaine lettuce.

I think it is a vegetable, but what I've come across in store have generally called them 'cactus fruit', or 'cactus pears', which may or may mot be the same thing you're taking about, so...;;

Depends. Nopales are a vegetable, but the 'pears' are a fruit.
