Oh man, that woman can't live her bourgeois lifestyle after having kids. That's terrible. My heart's breaking. I can't even use the computer right now, my eyes are tearing up so bad.

AYRT—see, I don’t blame her for being well off. Even if I won the lotto jackpot tomorrow, a life like hers would be an impossibility for me. And she’s entitled to vent on her own blog. It’s just sad because so many people never have the chance to have the life she gave up or the one she’s living now. She’s not and wasn’t obscenely rich, more like upper middle class, and that’s still the impossible dream for so damn many people.

Oh fuck off, anon. OP and this woman are both sad because clearly the woman probably didn't want to be a mom but the narrative of life is "WOOOOMUUUUUHN GET MAAAARRRIED, HAS BAAAAABEEEEEEZ" and it's shoved down our throat with every remotely childfree character in media who voices that option ALL changing their minds.

OP is also valid because this person has what they want. It's all human, but shaming someone for being more fortunate is fucking awful.
