Wow, well, agree to disagree, I guess, on pretty much every count, but that's what's so interesting about fandom.

People can see the exact same show and come away with completely different opinions.

I've never read the book although it's now on my list. But I felt like the human characters were very well done. I love Anathema, and I liked Adam and the Them as well. Perhaps a bit more set up for how these three children could conquer the horsemen? .. But at the time, I just assumed that Adam was giving them extra power. I thought the horsemen were perfect--enough story time to set them up as a threat, but I didn't really need more scenes of murder and mayhem--what we got was more than enough. As for Azzi and Crowley, I adored them so much, their chemistry was awesome and the actors were brill. It's kind of a backhanded compliment to say that they were so awesome they put the other actors in the shade, even if it is true. We want them to be less awesome?
