Well, it's only 7:20 here, so I'll say how yesterday went.
Yesterday I got up bright and early to pick my parents up from the airport, only to realise (before I left the house, fortunately) that my mum have given me their departure time, not their arrival time. -_-'
After some delays and some confusion, I did manage to collect them and bring them home, they got to unpacking, and then my dad got a phone call from his sister that their dad, my grandpa, had died in the night.
So dad went off to do important "dealing the the immediate aftermath of a death" things, I made dinner... and mum realised I had a ticket to the ballet that very evening! I skipped, though: I was already pretty worn out, the ballet would not have made for a pleasant evening at that point.
The evening pretty much proceeded as expected from there, mercifully - dad came home, we had dinner, talked about their trip, etc etc.

Gods but I still feel tired just thinking about it all :(
