Actually, no. Looking back on it, I figured their refusal was due to the fact we weren’t as financially stable back then as we were later on and they wanted me to save the money I had earned for a rainy day. By the time my sister got into One Direction, they had both gotten promotions and were able to give her what she wanted for her birthdays. Still doesn’t stop me from feeling a little bitter about it though.
