Planet Earth. Dune and Children of Dune (excellent adaptions both and miles better than the terrible movie adaption). Dr. Horrible. The Battlestar Galactica miniseries that started the tv remake show. Merlin (the one with Sam Neill). Cosmos. Blue Planet. Frozen Planet. Wonders of the Solar System.

Not sure if this counts, though it was always billed as a mini-series to me, but I will forever and always have a soft spot for the Horatio Hornblower series.
