Re: "Classic" Anime

I'll freely admit that the length is part of the reason I haven't revusited it more, though I assume that is more about the genre and the way they did children's anime in the nineties (Marmalade Boy, in comparison). I might not be as generous as I was four yeats ago this time, for all I know, but I remebmer being honestly surprised at how GOOD it appeared when I was expecting to have to slog through it. The border between "twee" and "cute" is subjective, though I can readily understand that CCS would walk it more dangerously than most.
