Re: What benefits does Warren have over Sanders?

Warren is more complete picture. Sanders is so focused on class that he doesn't realize quite how much of an impact race, gender, and other power dynamics play (particularly race, which I believe has as much of and possibly more of an impact than class). He thinks most things are about class. Therefore, his policies are designed specifically with class issues in mind. They aren't geared towards getting towards the root racism of some of the issues and therefore can't be truly effective.

Warren is also better on details. She has more fleshed-out plans and has thought about how they could actually be implemented.

I think this is true in the sense that class is Sanders' primal instinct as a politician (and I also think it's basically the case that the Democratic Party as a whole needs to care much more about class than it does right now) but I think the Bernie campaign and policy team has gotten pretty good about being responsive to race and gender issues, especially this time around. Credit where credit's due, you know?

He's better this time around. I just think Warren has got it more right. She's my current choice. And also, just generally all other things being equal I don't think another old white male president is what this country needs.
