Oh god, West of Loathing is seriously one of the funniest games I've ever played. I really hope you love it.

Recs:

Monster Hunter World, without a doubt. It's so damn good. It is so satisfying finally beating a monster that's been giving you hell.

FFXV if you haven't played it. I know it's sort of a polarizing game with a lot of the FF fanbase, but I honestly really really loved it. For all its faults, it made four incredibly human characters, and just following them is wonderful.

Papers, Please. This game is stressful in a really heartwrenching sort of way. Having to make decisions that affect your family versus being a "good" person... it gets hard. It's an experience. I really recommend it.

I just about shat myself seeing that Fallout: New Vegas is only $3.29 right now so if you have not played that game then for the love of god play that game.

Yeah, I've been wanting to play West of Loathing forever. I'm a longtime fan of Kingdom of Loathing (though admittedly I haven't played it in quite a while), so I have high hopes for it! I also haven't played New Vegas in a while. I actually didn't get very far in it before my hard drive crashed and had to be replaced, and I've been so obsessed with Skyrim and Oblivion (and the hundreds of mods I have for each) that I still haven't gotten around to reinstalling it. Thanks to your reminder, though, I'ma go ahead and do that tonight! I just need to make sure I download the mod that eliminates all the gore before I play, because while things like blood and bones don't bother me, I've always been a huge wimp when it comes to the inner wobbly bits.
