I need to do this. I start writing stuff and I start out thinking that I'm not going to share it with anyone to try to take the pressure off, but then I inevitably give up because I worry about what people would think if they DID see it. I guess some part of me feels like there's no point to writing it if no one else sees it?

And yeah, I have pretty unusual tastes, so it worries me how I'd be judged if someone read something weird I wrote. I guess I need to try harder to convince myself that it's okay to write something no else will read, and that I shouldn't let that (imaginary) fear of judgment affect what I write/if I write it at all.
