Yikes! I had that happen once. My ear canal'd gotten all inflamed, so my doc gave me a z-pac. A few days later it gave a mighty POP as all the liquid that'd been trapped in there suddenly released and oh my god ear water tastes so bad.

But I hope it's just something like that! It was really easy to get fixed up.
