I'm not sure what qualifies as "Tony worship," honestly. If that means "anything that puts Tony in a positive light or makes him a point of conversation" then I'd go ahead and skip the movie.

Otherwise, there is talk of Tony and Iron Man. There are moments where Peter is angsting and grieving his loss and talking about Tony's memory with others. There are also things that don't seem to be about worshipping Tony.

But yes, Tony's mentioned a few times, as well as his legacy. He's got a connection to Peter, and so soon after Endgame, it's kind of hard not to mention him. And if it's "just like" Tony to have done something to ensure he'll be remembered after he's gone, I guess in some way, he does it here. But for what it's worth (and this is probably just my opinion), I don't think anyone who personally knew Tony tries to fool themselves about who Tony was.

Oh no. I don't mind Tony in a positive light. Tony is okay. I just don't want everything focused on him, you know? This is Peter's movie. I just don't want it to be all about Tony. And the last trailer I saw made it seem like it was going to be.

I guess the potential issue lies in the legacy. And let's just say some things Tony has done in the past bubble up here.

Nope, actually. This is a Peter movie, I prefer if the movie would stick with who it is actually about.
