omfg that movie! I watched it when it first came out and then re-watched it like, 25 years later. It held up pretty well, TBH, heh.

That movie is the best fucking B-movie right along with Red Sonja.

Kodo and Podo are the motherfucking CHAMPS.

Also, Rip Torn CHEWING ALL THAT SCENERY is life.

Those bat things coming out of the cocoons freaked me out as a kid.

We used to turn the sound off and make up our own dialogue (TBF we did this with Red Sonja too).

Beastmaster was the shit. I haven't seen it in a very long time, but I loved it when I was younger. Pity the sequels sucked so much.

And I talk to my animals all the time. I just wish I could hear them respond or see through their eyes occasionally.
