It's weird and frightening, but sometimes people can be relatively functional in some ways (i.e. holding down jobs and maintaining relationships) and absolutely batshit in other ways. The internet makes it easier for such people to hold forth on their delusions and find other gullible or unstable people to cheer them on, which just enforces their sense of being right.

Yup. I guess this one just seems particularly extreme to me. And the fact that this blogger was exposed on national tv and yet still continues to do it is something that boggles my mind. She knows she's going to get sued again, right?
