In the 80 gardens series his favourite gardens around the world tended to almost exclusively be either 'rich westerner experiments in foreign climes', 'western style allotment garden or similar', or 'classical european garden'. He was much more dismissive of things like the moroccan orchard garden, and the asian episodes were kinda painful.
