I have become that cat parent. I got a couple Amazon gift cards from relatives. I'm spending them on stuff for my cat. They're still presents for me. She's my cat and making her happy makes me happy.

It is fun, isn't it? I'm just imagining how much fun she's going to have playing with the toys I got. I love spoiling her. I have this special bond with her that I've honestly never had with a pet before. We've just got this thing. We saved each other. So I'll be this person for her.
