Aaaaw sounds so cute!

And he's adorable! Just very annoying at night right now. :/
He's not allowed outside, because we live right next to a busy street Can't teach a cat to just stay in the garden... or at least not this cat. He's gentle, doesn't hunt ankles, doesn't bite, doesn't scratch (unless you really annoy him, in which case he's still more likely to just push you away or run away himself) but he absolutely refuses being picked up. He doesn't sit on laps (unless you put him into a box, then it's apparently fine???) or cuddles (petting is encouraged when he's sleepy). Aka no way I can get him into a harness or just pick him up when I decide to get back in. So housecat it is (he does have the basement and two floors to live in so space is there!).

Do wonder if he would like a cat friend. We used to have another cat that we also got as company for him... but he never really warmed up to her (she died last year - on my freaking birthday, cause she had a bad heart, still makes me cry :(). They weren't enemies or anything, but also not friends?
I just don't know how I would be able to bring a cat back to the shelter if it doesn't work out and since I don't know if he's unhappy now... sigh. (I know cats are often happier when they're not alone, but he only started purring again after my other cat was gone? Don't know what to make of that)

Mine is not allowed out either. She's allowed out on our closed in porch. How long she's allowed out depends on how hot it is. She loves it out there, though. We have a bird feeder in the yard. She loves bird watching. And occasionally we'll take her out on a leash.

My kitty does not do well with other cats. She was an outdoor cat with other cats in her previous, abusive home. She was territorially insecure and wanted to be an indoor cat. They yelled at her and kicked her. She was bullied by the other cats. So she doesn't do well. When my sister brings her cat when she visits, my Joanna is unhappy.

She's a very good girl. Sometimes she thinks feet are toys. But that's okay. She's an adorable calico girl. She loves to play and watch birds. Her favorite food is tuna. She loves to sleep at the foot of my bed. She's a tree dweller cat who will climb on anything she can. She's not a lap cat, but she lets me know she loves me by slow blinking and wanting to be near me all the time. I love her so much. I don't know that I've ever loved a pet as much as I love her.

Aaaaaaw, she sounds absolutely delightful!

Mine is a big, red tabby named Tobi. We got him from a shelter when he was half a year old (I actually wanted to adopt an older cat, but they only had older outdoor cats and with that street, my heart would have never taken it). He has a slightly crooked tail at the base where it must have been broken before when he was a kitten, which is why he can't stand it up 100% erect like cats do when they're excited, but he does the best he can (also probably the reason why he doesn't like being petted there?).

Petting is nice when he's sleepy. Otherwise no. We're allowed to touch the soft belly when he's sleeping tho. So that's fair.

He does not care for catnip - his choice of kitty drug is vervaine and most cat toys are for peasants. He wants to play with that grass stalk and then eat it like a savage thank you very much! (Amazingly he almost never vomits them or any furr back up?)

He also likes to YELL at other cats outside to get off his lawn (there are always those 0.5 seconds everyone in the house thinks he accidently got stuck somewhere >_>).

He'd love to go out and we wish we could explain a harness to him. :(

Dawwww. You're boy sounds adorable. My girl doesn't like catnip on its own, or the plant. But she likes catnip toys. Her drug of choice is brushing. Which is weird because when it comes to petting, she's a cheeks only girl, and only sometimes. But brushing is a drug for her, especially when my mom does it. She looks like she's high when she's being brushed.

My cat has never had a hairball either. Never vomited anything.

My girl disdains water bowls. She only drinks out of her fountain or the sink. Only moving water for her. Until I got her the fountain, she'd only do the sink or try to drink from the toilet.

Right now she's curled up in a ball at the foot of my bed, looking completely adorable. She's a calico cutie. I've been told by others she's particularly beautiful for a calico. I don't know. I just know I adore her.

Tobi has a fountain, too! He does drink out of a bowl if he has to, tho (the fountain is in the living room, which is closed at night).

He sometimes sleeps on his back and it looks hilarious.

He also gets compliments for his furr... so we're very proud owners of two very pretty cats. :3
