If the Polly-Anna approach bothers you then I'm sorry in advance, but on the bright side, your phone is way less likely to be stolen now.

I'm serious. I shatter my last phone's screen and kept using it for like 2 years afterwards (without any real inconvenience I might add), and honestly, I kind of miss that phone. I left that fucker lying on coffee shop tables unguarded and all sorts of unsafe places, and nobody ever stole it because it's not worth stealing a phone with a broken screen.

Still, I was crushed for a couple of days after the break happened, and I'm sorry you gotta go through that stress. It sucks big time.
