I’m the OP of the comment that was made into this secret, and oh god I’ve seen that in fic. Fanart, too, but a certain amount of stylistic change to a character design (aside from obvious stuff like getting eye and hair color wrong) doesn’t bug me nearly as much as short characters described as tall, characters that have maybe a couple years age difference being described as though they’re decades apart, chubby characters with six packs, average middle aged dudes with the bodies of romance cover models, characters with small boobs bursting out of their bodices...
