I really can't with the Michael Sheen stans defending him getting his 25-year-old girlfriend pregnant, after rabidly calling out every other large age gap relationship as pedophilia, abusive, fucked up power balances, etc. I get he's the smol cinnamon roll angel man fave, but the hypocrisy is just too much.

25 years old is past the point where age gap is still a major concern.

We aren't debating that. I agree, she's 25 and a grown ass woman who can make up her own mind about her own life. The point is he is 50. She is 25. He has a 20 year old daughter. I don't know what the hell those abstract people are doing or thinking. The point that I am trying to make is that there is a genuine distinction here. You can think that Sheen dating a 25-year-old is creepy, but it's clearly not as bad as other age gap relationships.

I believe that there is something wrong with a 50-year-old dating a 19-year-old, or a 17-year-old, or a 16-year-old, in a way that is much worse than him dating a 25-year-old. What I reject is the idea that this is somehow hypocritical. That is fucking absurd. Just because you object to age gaps in general does not mean that you have to think this specific Michael Sheen relationship is morally wrong.
