I'm a fan of the author and their works. I don't want it to seem like I'm shoving myself into their work just because they were nice enough to include it, and I'm just plain freaking out...
S!B: I have seriously bad anxiety, (if it wasn't already obvious), and I've jumped-ship on reading things I've genuinely enjoyed for a lot less. I'm so afraid this will be another one of those things.
I've done this once before, (almost as an apology for my embarrassing reaction for them recognizing comments) where they didn't really respond. I almost hoped for that same reaction.
(I'm also fretting over posting this just in case they might see, and I don't even know what... Someone make me feel better basically...)

But nobody knows 'you' did it, and therefore, you don't need to do anything but enjoy the fact that the author liked your art well enough to post it with their fic.
And congratulations! I love love love if someone likes my fic enough to make art, it's an amazing compliment and so flattering. You most likely made their day. :D

My first instinct was to say nothing, so unless someone asks something specific about the art in particular, I'll stay quiet!
They did seem pretty excited about the image though, so I really should be grateful for that. Until the next chapter, I'll just just have to wait and see what happens.
(honestly I'm grateful enough that if you want anything drawn for you, just let me know!)

HA, are you kidding? I'll take anything! I dunno what your style is or if you like to do 'scenes' or covers or portraits, so just - look over my fic and if something grabs you, go for it.
If nothing really floats your boat, that's fine, too; can't force the muse. :D

I was thinking of drawing something for '47.25435° N, 101.73998° W' so keep an eye out!

Yes, his hair *is* difficult, but it looks really good! :D
