I was badly bullied and badly depressed. It took me a quite few years and some therapy to pull out of the depression enough to be able to go back to studying. Then I took some adult education classes in graphic design and now I work freelance at that. If I'd stayed in school and followed the course expected of me I would almost definitely have killed myself before I reached the age of 20.

I dropped out of my A-levels due to severe depression too, and I don't regret it either.

Same thing happened to me in middle school (although that can't compare, I guess). I was always made fun of and I had to go to the hospital several times because I was suicidal, and the final straw was my staying a week there. Looking back, I had a lot more support pillars, which I think is what helped me to gather the will to go on to high school.

Granted, it's a private school and they don't take any shit from the kids there, so...:/ I'm just rambling. It's late.
