116. I know a woman older than thirty that writes fanfiction. She's awesome. She also has a steady job--as a librarian--and uses her work to make very detailed references in her fanfics. She was one of the people that changed my opinion on fanfics as a waste of time.

However, it's not bandom, it's Princess Tutu fandom. Still, I think you're overreacting drastically.

122. And THAT is why I dislike much of slashfic and didn't ship any m/m pairings for years! =DDDD Because, yes, you HAVE described many fangirl's love of slash. And it's scarily objectifying.
(Of course, this is the worst of the group, and not entirely representative. Thank goodness.)
