116: What did that come from? O_o Fanfic is suddenly a hobby that keeps you from doing anything else, now? And how is it different from any other writing?

124: Actually, the largest part of fanfic is still male character/OC. Sure, it may be Sue fic, but it's still het. And in RL "fandom", i.e. among people who are fans but don't take part in the online fandom except for possibly the official forum still boggle at the mere thought of slash/yaoi

127: Oh, Ruka. ♥ ♥ ♥ His story made me shed a few tears, I won't deny it. (Why the lapis lazuli, though?)

150: Reading somebody else's impression of the book is hardly going to give you an unbiased view, though. I disagree completely with how large parts of the fandom sees the story, certain characters, and messages the story have.

Actually the majority of the fans in fandoms are yaoi fangirls. Trust me. I rarely see sues anymore but then again, I dont go on witch hunts when someone wants to have fun.

No, they really aren't. I never read Sues (or comment on them), but I can see the sheer amount of fic that are listed as male character/OC in, among other places, ffn. Really, check the major archives and general fandom sites, and you'll see for yourself. You don't have to take my word for it.

Just because yaoi is dominant in your little corner of your specific fandom, it doesn't make it a universal truth. Bleach, for example, is dominated by het, even in LJ-fandom, which is unusually yaoi-friendly.
