(I never had any desire to see the Japanese version, to be quite honest. I'm not a big fan of Romi Paku and most of what I heard has been that the material is uncensored, the plot better, etc., but that voice acting in the English is actually better, more enthused, more alive.)

THIS. THIS. THIS. I seriously think a petition should be made to get Disney to release an anniversary boxset next year of the first two seasons AT LEAST.

(I've never actually heard anything Romi Paku's done, so I can't say anything about that, but that's really interesting about the English vs. the Japanese voice acting. I just want to see some of it subbed so I can see what the series is like uncensored, really - otherwise, I'll keep the dub. ^ ^ )

I AGREE COMPLETELY. It baffles me that they haven't released at least the first two on DVD in full. I mean, I think the first season got the DVD boxset treatment in Canada, and before that it there was some kind of boxset of episodes 1-13, but STILL. I'd buy it, and I know there are a ton of other people who would. Does Disney seriously think no one would be willing to buy Digimon on DVD? D:

(I know her from being Ed Elric, and I have heard SOME of her Ken, and I just. I cannot stand her 'boy' voice. The two sound completely differnet, given, but I just can't stand her male voice. Es. Voices.)

It actually didn't get the boxset treatment in Canada; that was a bootleg. I looked into it. Alas. No officially DVD release has been done in English. I HEAR THAT DISNEY IS PLANNING TO RELEASE DATA SQUAD, THOUGH. I swear if they release Data Squad and not Adventure/02, I will have a fucking fit. YOU HAVE AN ENTIRE CULT WILLING TO BUY THIS SHIT, DISNEY. CATER, CATER.

(Just curious, but why don't you like her male voices? I mean, I'm just curious - I've heard women do male voices in series that just make me cringe because they're too feminine, or too high-pitched. Is that her issue as well?)

Aww, no way! :O That's really lame. I had no idea... Wait, they're doing Data Squad and... NOT THE OTHERS? >:O That's illogical. I haven't actually seen any of Data Squad, but is it nearly as popular as Adventure and 02 were/are? I suppose we can hope that if Data Squad is released, Adventure and 02 will follow... If not, though, I'll be quite angry. The first parts of a show ought to come out on DVD first - it just makes sense.
