Someone stole one of my comments and turned it into a secret (05) and I'm not okay with it. Could you delete it, please? I don't feel comfortable with my comment being used for cheap racism bait.

I'm so sorry that happened to what was a perfectly innocuous comment that had nothing to do with race. :/ This is why I don't wholly approve of people doing these.

I'm not the one that makes secrets from comments but I don't think they intended to make it racism bait. It looks more like the picture choice was awkward without the context of the comment

I mean... I think I remember the original comment and it was specifically about the movies that are in the secret. It happens to be two of the live action remakes that have poc heroines, but I'm not sure I see the racism?

DA

The comment was likely just referring to upcoming live-action movies. But if you look at the thread for the secret, it seems some people have taken it to mean that they want them to flop because the movies are starring POC. It might have a little something to do with the fact that the secret image had pretty prominent pictures of the actors playing Mulan and Ariel.

I would also like Disney to stop with the live-action, some due to it seeming like it's part money grab and part IP control, some due to thinking they could be making entirely new things, and some just due to being creeped out by the CG that shows up in these in these movies (also a problem with Cats).
