As someone who has little to no attraction to others, I don't really get the point of making a big deal about your lack of attraction.

Yeah that's what I meant. You liking shipping has nothing to do with you being ace IRL. Ace people ship all the time. It's weird that OP's friend is pretending like they don't ship as though that's some kind of ace badge
