It's just so weird to me that THAT is what people would be left with after hearing about the games. I mean, it probably isn't weird, since the NextGen mechanic has been a substantial part of the last two entries od the franchise, but... damn. As someone whose formative FE experience were the first GBA games overseas, the breeding is way down on my list of "what makes FE".

(Also, "ace ppl don't do shipping" is extremely weird from a number of angles. I'm aroace and fundamentally disinterested in being in a relationship, but I ship as much as anyone)
