I'm asexual myself. Aroace, even. So one of the reasons that friend annoyed me so much was because she kept insisting that ace people don't ship just because she doesn't (which hasn't even been true on several occasions). She keeps bringing shipping/not shipping up as some sort of weird ace purity test, going in and on how she just doesn't get why people ship, like she, as an asexual person, couldn't fathom why anyone would ever want to do that , which in my eyes just makes ace people look silly and ignorant.
